Once you have started volunteering the amount of money you require is small, you are not expected to pay for your accommodation, food or weekend activities.  Whilst volunteering you should be able to purchase additional food, alcohol and candy, souvenirs and mobile phone credit, this should be done out of your own pocket. However items in the region are cheap in comparison to western prices.
